All Cris Maria Jewelry pieces are made in Portugal, mostly by hand, in 925 silver, using traditional jewelry techniques.
Pieces in 9, 14 or 18 carat gold can be made to order.
The gold-plated silver pieces are plated with 24-carat gold, 1 or 2 microns thick.
The gems used can be synthetic or natural.
Cris Maria Jewelry pieces are certified by the Contrastaria da INCM - imprensa nacional - casa da moeda, S.A.
The assay office checks the legal touch, i.e. determining the amount of precious metal (in permilage) contained in an alloy (silver or gold) and applies the contrast (seal guaranteeing compliance with that check), next to the responsibility mark of the producer of the piece.
Contrasting is only compulsory for silver pieces weighing more than 2 grams and gold pieces weighing more than 0.5 grams.
If the buyer is in any doubt as to the authenticity of the marks, he can use the assay office to check.

In addition to the online store, the pieces can be seen and bought at the CRIS MARIA JEWELRY atelier, at Rua de São Tomé, N29 R/C, in Alfama - Lisbon, where they can be inspected by the relevant authorities.
Warranty
According to Portuguese law, all parts are guaranteed for two years.
The guarantee does not cover the natural oxidation of the silver or the removal of the gold plating, as well as signs of use, the passage of time or visible marks of improper use.
The warranty does not cover loss of parts, stones or theft.
The Customer is obliged to check the delivered item upon receipt. If it appears to be different from what was ordered or if it appears to be incomplete or damaged, you should immediately report the problem to the following email address [email protected].
The return of the item requires the identification of the order number and that it is in new condition and must be made in the original packaging, by registered mail.
After analysis, confirmation of the validity of the guarantee and acceptance, Cris Maria Jewelry will give the Customer the opportunity to choose between replacing the item with another, free of shipping costs, or refunding the amount. The return of postage only applies in cases where the item has not yet been returned more than 14 days after receipt.
