Cris Maria Jewelry pieces are generally made of 925 sterling silver and, when well cared for, maintain their character for a long time, requiring only some simple care and periodic maintenance.

You can prolong the flawless look of your garments by following our recommendations:

1. Avoid contact with chemicals or abrasives;
2. Remove your jewelry while showering and avoid direct contact with creams.

5. Store your pieces in a closed box in a cool, dry place;

A PRACTICAL AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY TIP FOR CLEANING YOUR ITEMS:

(Do not use on items with natural stones or pearls)

  1. Line a deep plate or bowl with aluminum foil, shiny side up, and place the items to be cleaned inside;
  2. Add to the container:
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda;
  • 1 tablespoon of salt;
  • 1 mug of hot water;
  1. Stir the mixture, which will create an effervescent effect;
  2. The triggered reaction will clean the parts;
  3. Leave on for 15 minutes;
  4. Remove the pieces and rinse them with water;
  5. You can still brush the parts with a soft toothbrush, moistened with soap (simply rub the toothbrush on the surface of a wet bar of soap until it creates abundant foam on the brush).
  6. You will have your pieces shiny and clean again, free of all dirt and oxidation;
  7. Don't forget to rinse the aluminum foil with water and crumple it into a ball; save it, and when you have a large enough ball, you can put it in the yellow recycling bin.

Wear your clothes often. Did you know that, with rare exceptions, the more you wear your clothes, the more beautiful they will become?

925 silver is an alloy composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, which gives it greater resistance, but also a greater propensity to oxidize, especially if you don't use it frequently and don't store it in proper conditions.

Silver oxidation is a natural process that alters its appearance, making it dark and dull. Store your pieces properly when not in use and avoid contact with abrasive and chemical agents to minimize oxidation.

Gold pieces

Gold-plated items undergo a surface treatment that coats them with a film of gold particles, giving them a golden color.

Cris Maria jewelry pieces are plated with 24kt gold, 1 or 2 microns thick.

The thicker the plating, the longer the gold appearance of the piece will last. A thicker plating can be requested, subject to quotation.

Gold-plated items can be worn normally, although they require some extra care, as the gold color tends to fade over time.

The color can be preserved longer by avoiding contact with cosmetics, perfumes, and creams. Perspiration and water, especially pool water, also contribute to the deterioration of the finish, so avoid wearing the pieces during sports activities.

Cris Maria offers an extra gold plating during the warranty period, upon presentation of the invoice.
