Cris Maria Jewelry is a Portuguese designer jewelry brand created by me, Cristina Costa.
I'm from Lisbon, a geological engineer by training, and have always been passionate about rings.
My curiosity to understand how they were made and to go exploring led me to the world of jewelry.
"I like what is simple and beautiful. Silver has always been my metal of choice, and ever since I learned to work with it, it's through silver that I give shape to what's in my soul and makes me feel alive."
For me, creating is a way of communicating, from the inside out, of intertwining my story with the stories of my clients, creating timeless experiences and moments.
Nature is my main source of inspiration, and I also like to combine it with elements based on art and cultures from around the world.

I love working with a rough, rustic look and transforming it into delicate and elegant pieces, exploring textures and contrasts between the shine of polished finishes and the matte finish of satin.
Social sustainability, production process sustainability, and responsible consumption are among my concerns and goals for the brand's future, which has become one of my life's projects since 2017.

I have my studio-shop in Alfama, located in the heart of Lisbon, from where pieces are shipped all over the country and the world. Every year, many people come here and buy my pieces, and through their stories and experiences they also become part of building the brand's inspirations.
I find this exchange very enriching both as a person and as a creator.
